While out at Ocotillo over Prez weekend, I stopped at the rangers tent at shell reef and found out they are in the process of writing the general plan for the future of Ocotillo Wells. If you care about what goes on out there you might want to voice your opinion and take the survey at
ocotillo survey I can only hope that our opinions are considered when deciding what will go into this general plan.
speak up people, take a couple of minutes and send in the survey.

Me too...thanks!! I will forward it to all the people in our desert group. I'm usually out there about 20-25 days a year. I hope they actually listen what we have to say. I asked them to do something about the wind.

Can a mod move this to general chat and sticky it so more people can fill out the questioner?

Completed. Anybody remember "409" hill on the back side of Blowsand? They closed it off a long time ago but it was steep as hell and should be reopend for this generation to explore.
