What about going back on the original builder, who gave you a receipt, stating that you payed for an upgrade, that you didn't get? It is pretty obvious that they screwed you. This is not the first time I have heard of this happening.

It was the previous owner who showed me the reciept for new mainshaft bearing and sychros and seals and stuff, HE was told it had all the upgrades. It was a one piece pinion, just not a Weddle, it was a US Gear. I understand that things are going to break, and as OB stated... I do drive the car hard. That's why the next one will be a little more beefy in the driveline department I'd be moving forward on that but got to keep this one going and I feel comfortable that this will be a stout as you can get a 2D...
