Bouncertime
I used 4 cups of cold water to 3 tablespoons of salt and 1 tablespoon of vinegar. It was just plain ordinary Morton's salt and I brined it for about 6 hours. I just looked and we used salted butter and I also put some salt in the flour I dredged the wings in.

I might make some of these

Ingredients:
3 lbs. chicken wings
2 cups barbeque sauce
3 tsp. red cayenne pepper
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. garlic powder
3 Tbls. worcestershie sauce
6 Tbls. Jalapeno sauce
3 Tbsp. cajun seasoning
1/2 small onion chopped

Directions:
Place in a crockpot. Mix together remaining ingredients and pour over wings (save some for dipping sauce). Toss to coat wings with sauce. Cook on low 4-5 hours. Remove from wings sauce and grill for 4-5 minutes.

Bouncertime, you found the problem that I was going to comment on right now. No need to now. I use sea salt, it's relly good to brine with.
I have 50lbs. of chicken parts and 50lbs. of pork ribs to cook friday at work, for our summer BBQ with the new Commander.
