I have an 09 and was getting ready to install some HID's. Where's a good spot to mount the ballasts. I have some idea but just want to see where to slap them for a clean install.

Do you have them already or still shopping?

Are you upgrading the stock lights to H.I.D. or will these be in addition to them? I upgraded the stockers on the RZR and the slim ballast mounts right behind the housing.
Check these out:

They are amazing for the price and they come with a warranty.

They do have separate H.I.D.'s with built in ballasts that make it very simple. They start around $109.99 for the 4" Euro beam. You can find them all over.

Has anyone else installed his lights?? Just got them and having trouble getting everything to squeeze into the factory boot and housing. Seems to me the wires on the kit I got were setup wrong or too short.

They are a pain. Last ones I did the balast was outside the light housing. I have to replace one this week and not looking forward to it. I think the first ones I did I rivieted the balast to the outside of the housing. sorry no pics.

Endi is awesome. He will spend over an hour with you on the phone explaining things. Wealth of knowledge for sure.

We use HondaJimz over here and they are a nice kit and easy to install.

For the ballasts we have a mounting plate we weld to the headlight supports that keeps them up and out of the way of rocks and is nice and clean.

I will dig around for a pic....
