full of old misc. tools and spare vw fan belts... its an old looking leather or vinyl blue colored bag. let me know if its yours.

Lost a dark colored tool bag at Olds end of last season. Contents included misc tools, mostly craftsman, two sets of allen wrenches (metric & american), extra large sized
chrome Chanel lock type pliers, valve core tool on a short cable, misc nuts and bolts, two VW fan belts, sockets and ratchets and other items I can't remember. The one you
found is probably not mine but you never know. Thanks for the post.

well i found this on sand highway near the trees closest to the highway. and it was at the entrance to the road to olds... i will look thru the bag and see whats in it

This sounds kinds of like mine, minus the VW fan belt. Are you mistaking it for a subaru fan belt by chance.

Pics would be nice so I can say for sure...as I would hate to claim someone elses tools.

after the post he must have really looked in the bag and found a roll of hundreds.......suddenly his memory is coming back...oh ya! he lost this bag

I still have the bag, and its all vw stuff, points, rotor, like 3 fan belts. tools are mostly old allen wrenches and cresent wrenches, off brand sockets and rachets most items are rusty. looks like it may have been out there for some time, but i will take some pics... D. Marshall I will trade tools and bag for the return of my pipe !
