Might have sold my buggy, was wondering whats your latest and greatest 2 seat mid-engine chassis? Revo,,,Econo,,,What do U recomend???Will still be useing the S4D with the PBS bellhousing behind a LS engine. Any new pictures??? Please,,,,And what decisions do I need to think about as far as any options U have on the chassis and suspension??? Im afraid I might be out of a buggy for our season if it sells. : (

I still love the tatum blackwidow mid engines. Or personally I think I would by a Mosebilt Paquito Econo and have him tab it for a mid engine. I like small but powerful sand rails, so Id try to get a car around 2000 pounds but with a large engine

i had my choice (and money) i would build one of my "revo" but with rolled roof...put a Howe rack, 2" hollow spindles and my new "boxed" upper control arms (they match the lower's) and ORI struts...the struts are a position sensitive, externally adjustible-internal by pass "strut"= no coil springs and less weight, plus only one shock per wheel....dont have any new pics, the mid-engine being built was changed to a 4 seater-no roof was ever put on....but i have a brand new 4 seater that will done this friday i will be putting up pics...

Hey John , do you have any personal experience with these struts? I would imagine there would be some RnD required to get these dialed in.

they have put them on quite a few sand cars, in the desert though is another story. would they take some tuning...of course...would they work great in the sand...yes, desert?...questionable.

So U havent used any yet? I dont think I want to be the ginni pig, Im way to far away from U for tuning. I know one guy up here that has Sway-Aways I think, and it doesnt work real well. It would lighten things up a bunch thou. Do U just adjust air pressure for the spring rate? Then the bypass adjustments for the ride and bump stop? How much pressure do they run in them?

Talked to the guy that I was talkin about haveing Sway-Away struts, and it turns out they are ORI struts that hes running, I dont think his buggy rides and handles that good, its a mid-engine 2 seat V6 with a mendi and weighs about 1800 pnds, maybe 2000 to 2200 pnds would make them better thou.

i have a "all new"-waaaay outside the box mid engine going on the table...hint-it's 4wd, light, 2 seat with rolled roof, mid engine, no expensive trans -axle, affordable for the masses, 20" wheel travel all 4 corners (4 wheel a-arm)..all factory parts...torsion bar with single shock per wheel (emulsion or by-pass)..light, light, light...

Wowwww,,,We have got to see pictures of that,,,Ive thought about 4wd,,Ive gota 3.6L porsche engine and trans and the front diff all out of a 2001 porsche 911. I kinda wanted to save that to put into one of those Humbug fiberglass kit car deals if I can ever find one.
