I was just wondering what happened to the letter E in the grading system in our schools? I have no idea what brought this up just wondering if anybody has ever wondered the same thing. I got a lot of "D"'s when I was young so maybe I was just hoping that there was one more level before F. And another thing, why didnt we just use "E" as a bad grade instead of F??? Just really bored because its snowing outside.

They used E for excellence in behavior on alot of cards. Did you not have any of those? They might have thought it would be confusing to use it for your grade as well.

They were saving "e" for "little e" which, come to find out means the same as failure........

Our grading system was done 1-5.. None of this A-F crap.. Everyone can read a number.. not many can ready a letter..

yeah, and how many 5's got changed to 3's and 4's to 2's

Oh, E is still there, its just a little out of order. If it was beyond a solid F, when a fail just wouldnt cut it, they would break out the E. Epic Fail.
