All though all of us would love to rip it up at the tres regatta. Us east coast guys that have the same love for 70 need to put our heads together and find
a east coast venue for a 70 meet. This started in another thread and there was alot of interest in doing it so i wanted to start something so we could get a idea of
how many east coast guys/girls we have on here and where we are all from.

i would be interested also, depending on the time of year. busco beach is a great place to ride, i get there every chance i get, but with the rainy season moving in here shorty, its going to be nasty.

What time frame works for everyone?

id say mid june so the kids can make it too..

I don't have kids but mid June would work great for those that do. I'm very interested, but the only way I could really justify going is if I took some of my friends to split up gas $. The problem with my friends is that they all have ATC 110's.........Is this going to bother anyone?

i don't see it to be a problem. i will bring my 350x also, just so i can keep up with some of the modded 70's

I am interested of course, but most of this year is already booked. I will be in NC in July for a week in a National Compition with the kids but that will be West of Charlolette. But I may be able to make it in June, Wife won't but I have friends with 90s and 110s to come along. I will have to wait and see, also Trike Fest hosted by three wheeler world.com looks to be June 25, so I know alot of guys go out there, it is in Indianna. Later in the year like Augaust would be better, but I will try to make whatever.

August sounds good and it gives me more time to get trikes finished. And 70s only!!!!!! Buy a 70 and fix it up. You moofers have time!!! LOL And blue27, tell Timmy to fix up a 70. LOL He can get one of your beaters in the shed. And this means that we will have to get all mine up and going, even the new "Project Taz"! LOL Now I have to get the A+ finished and a new engine in the PK and get the new beast going. There goes the budget! I might have to mod and put a second tier in the trailer for this one. And we'll have to find a 70 for gazoo. I hope there is a hotel nearby in Busco Beach?

So is this going to be at Busco Beach? August might be the best time with trikefest being the end of June.

They should be done. But you really would want to see "the beast" or as I have been calling it "Taz" since it is Aussie powered. I think with the right rider, and I mean by right rider small and insane, that it should give a 200x a run for it's money. I just hope it's together by then. I really hope my buddy blue27 can make it so you can see his masterpiece A+ trike in his avatar. He has a really trick 73 with a front drum brake on it too. He'll probably be sporting the z50 as well. Everybody will dig Bruce.

Well, we really need to set a date as well as a month. And we do need a point man. We need to see if we can get a group rate or something. Devilman, you seem to have been there more than once, are you going to spear head this? Are there going to be any official happenings at this event? A drag race or any kind of race for that matter? Or is this going to be just kind of hang out and see what happens? A catchy name? T-shirts? I wonder if I can rent a toy hauler? That would be cool. I'm kind of excited about this.

If I take my trailer I might beable to help out a member or 2 with a ride if I can make it.

I am new here but I am good for anytime in August as well. Only month I am free all summer.

Not sure what trike will be done, but most likely it will be an ATC70 or 90 and maybe the sl70 conversion if I can get it done it time.

im for sure gonna bring 3 of my atc70s and maybe 2 more if this deal goes well.. cant forget the 1970 monkey either

i put a post up on buscobeach.com forum looking for info on any weekend in august that isn't scheduled for anything and also who i need to talk to besides the owner of the place. i know he is a busy man and would like to talk to someone that has the time to do it. hopefully i will know something by monday and i will post here the good dates. i will get the ball rolling with the management, but i may have to pass the ball to someone else that is willing to head it up due to the fact that i am active duty USMC, and not sure if i will be here in NC in august. the owner and his fellow workers are very nice and will differently work with us i do believe

as far as hotels, there are a few 5-10 minutes from there. you can also camp at busco with tents, or even hook up rv's not sure on the quality of the hotels or names of the places, so you may have to look into that. i will sleep in the back of the truck or in the trailer if i have to.

UPDATE: they are hosting a drag race comp. the weekend of the 28th. nothing else scheduled as of now.

njcustom, those decals turned out nice. It gives the trike a way more finshed look. I hope to see your macine at Busco Beach. Has anyone heard back from Busco Beach about any big events that month to help us determine what weekend we are looking at?

Whats up everyone... I just joined here and found this wonderful idea yall are talking about.. I also would be down for busco beach as I live here in NC. I would be up to take my 70 out there.. Me and my brother both have 83's with the BBR 106 stroker kit and his is the christmas special. So we would be down. Also the earlier in August the better.. I think I start school back like the 16th or so..

Is this going to be a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday gig? If so and if I can make it I will head out Thursday night about midnight to be there around 9:30 Friday morning. I make that run down 95 every year to Myrtle Beach in the spring.

Poule43, Are you bringing the KISS helmet? I would dig meeting you man. I'm sure someone can swing by and come pick you up. I don't think this will be as well organized as the Tres Regatta, but it's a start for the East Coast. It may even become the premiere East Coast Triking Event.
