The 7-8th weekend would work great for me.... Also I heard that there were quite a few 70's at busco beach today, was that any of yall? I just pulled my trike down today to paint the frame and such to get ready for august..

7th-8th sounds good. hopefully i will be around. how long does the drag strip need to be? i haven't heard of anything else being planned for that weekend, but expect it to be busy. busco is very busy during the weekend, but we can manage. i will get with the owner this week (via phone) and check about a group discount. not sure if its possible though. do know they charge 5 bucks per person park entry fee and 10 bucks per machine for that one person.

1 of the 70's there this weekend was a friend of mine
he saw another kid on a 3 wheeler and asked him to drag race
the kids father said "that little thing is slow!!" so brandon said that he would race the kids trx 90 and the dad said "ok, do you want him to give u 2 links?"
brandon said no heads up will be fine.
did i mention that brandon just got done with the 140cc swap last week
Apparently the dad didnt seem to notice this little detail and with brandon winning by 6 links the dad was then informed

haha yeah one of my friends was there and his wife got outrun by a 70.. I am assuming that it was that 140 you speak of.. O and she was on a Honda 450 haha.... needless to say they gave her crap the rest of the day.

Is there anything new with this ride? I haven't heard anything in a while and was wondering what was going on. Have you gotten any word on group rates? Work is being done on the suspension 70s and hope to have them wrapped up by then. Let me know what's going on and if this is still on. The quiet has me and my buddy blue27 worried.

Well guys it looks like we might only be able to make it Sunday the 8th. I know some of you are traveling and I hope you still make a weekend out of it. I think we could do it as a gathering/ride this time and see how it goes. I have been very busy helping my sister in law and her boyfriend remodel a new location for their business, and it looks like they will be opening right around the same time. Hope to see some 70s out there, at least to ride with.

So what day is everyone going.. I will have two there the whole weekend hopefully... I hope some of you show up with the Chinese motors because I am interested in seeing how they run..

We should have about 4-5 with the Chinese motors out there. I really wanted to do the whole weekend but a Sunday of riding is better than nothing

Some of you are still going to Busco Beach tomorrow right?? I will be there with 2 so I hope some more people show

Well guys
I'm sorry we didn't make it out there.
We had a flood at my sister in laws shop and it was about to wreck 5 grand worth of dry wall and electrical we had done so we've spent the last 2 days ( literally 48 hrs) on fixing it.
I feel like such a ASSHOLE for starting this and not being able to be there.
Ltr did u make it out there?

Yep I showed up just me and my brother out there riding the little 70's... I didn't see anyone else there with 70s but we still had fun. It would of been cool to ride with some other 70s but maybe next time..
