Because this is Glamis Dunes.com not St. Anthony's.com....duhhh
Beside what /\/\/\/\ said its
- Bigger
- Less razor Backs
- Closer to Civilization and Californians
- The ON season isn't 115°
- It doesn't snow
- Its better
Ask me 10 years ago and I would have had a bigger list.

For the record I have been- twice. Too soft for the bike and hot as heck. I like the tightness of glamis compared to the wide openness of St. Anthony.

The only time St Anthony is better than Glamis is in the summer.

Glamis is better for it's overall size and diversity of dunes but Saint Anthony's is sweet for it's wide open big azz bowls and ponds in the middle of the dunes. Never seen 115* there but the occasional low 90s can feel like 115*. The side trips, Yellowstone & Jackson Hole make the overall experience hard to compare with Glamis.

st anthony is way better than glamis... bigger, faster, more dune-able area, better bowls, taller and steeper hills, lakes, trees... better in every way... except, only really able to go in june and far as helll...

I've been to St Anthonys a few times and I think it is great but the drive takes it out of you. If they were both equal distance I wold say st Anthonys though.

WOW! REALLY.

St. A's actually gets boring after a week. The dune run is basically one run all the way out to the end and then turn around and come back. The dunes are so fast that you actually get comfortable just cruising at 90. Glamis dunes have so many more variables and transitions that the adrenaline gets higher for me at G then it does at Idaho. Still a great place to go, but I appreciate G more when I get back.

I have been 2 times to St Anthonys and had a blast, not many of my friends have been. I have been to Glamis countless times and had a blast, I can get more friends to go to Glamis. Glamis is closer to me and I don't have to take much time from work to go. St Anthony is cooler then Phoenix in the summertime. Bowls are taller and longer in ST Anthonys, more smaller bowls at Glamis. Camping at St Anthonys is more closer to other people. It's a toss up for me, I like the two places for different reasons. I'm glad I have had the privilege to have been to both places

See-Ya at the dunes...Brian

Can you imagine if as many people show up at St Anthony as show up at Glamis you couldn't even find a place to camp or ride.
