With summer almost here (at least in So Cal) what are the jetting requirements? Do I need to be richer with the hotter temps, or leaner?

You want to jet richer.. if u jet leaner it will make your motor run hotter and whats the point in that =AX

Actually, contrary to the 2 posts before me, you should jet leaner. Cold air is more dense, meaning there is more oxygen in it. Less oxygen means you need less gas. Therefore, you jet leaner in the summertime, and richer in the winter. If your jetting is correctly setup for the winter, then I would go down 1 step on the main jet for summer time. I am down 1 right now, and getting ready to possibly go down another.

24v...that's the way I understand it also. Same thing with increase in altitude....the higher you get, the less oxygen, so less fuel is needed, and smaller jetting.

24V is correct as it says in the manual! It really helps if you have an Air Desity gauge and jet accordinly to that. As a rule when the air temp goes up the desity goes down. The only fly in this ointment is moisture. If you are in a Moist area such as the coast and the temp goes down you would normally think to jet up but this has thrown me for a loop more than once. In this case you really have to read the plug for the conditions you are in.
Higher temp lower jet
lower temp higher jet
Good luck
