In a previous post I ask what i could do to make my Z400 faster. Well a month later I figured it out. I gave my wife my Z and bought a YFZ450. If your bike isn't fast enough get one that is.

I think you made a great choice on MODs here. Did you get blue? It is faster you know.......

Congrats Deez! Fast bike you got there! I still hate 'em though... but only 'cuz I'm a Z owner, and those 450's beat me so bad up the hill, it's almost like a 200X against a 250R and yes, I'm jealous of the power that YFZ has. Congrats to your wife for getting the Z too!

I used the same 'give it to the wife' mod to fix my 400EX problem.

Last I heard from Suzuki is that the Z450 will not be out until August of 2005, and I didn't feel like waiting. The Z400 is a sweet bike but its not even in the same group as the YFZ.

Yeah but the price on the zuki is better, over at z400central.com they have been talking about the z450 coming out in june/july, the yfz is a great bike, i would take it over the Z, but its to expensive
