I swapped this motor into my golf cart and drove it around my neighborhood for a few months. I took it to Glamis a few years back and drove my kids to BV from wash 23 via 78 and then made it a loop out to 30ish where the crossover used to be and back to 23. It started losing power and after I parked it, when I started it again it was blowing smoke...I burnt the rings, or a piston, or?
Parts were $600 plus my time to rebuild it. For 800 I could get a brand new one and swap the need parts over. I went that route.
I now have lots of extra parts. I would like to just get rid of the whole thing.
I'll give it away if you will pick it up. It would make a great anchor for a PWC. River season is almost on us :-)
