Just want to say say thanks to all the folks we've met on this site. You guys are truely a great bunch if people. I've really enjoyed becoming a part of this community. GD.com is not just a place to read about the dunes. It's a family with all the ups and downs that go along with it.

As a source of information and education there are few equals. From A to Z, no topics are left untouched. We sometimes struggle with the challenging issues and opposing points of view but in the end, the sand becomes a great equalizer and a common ground where we can come together and enjoy each others company regardless of race, creed, religion, or politics.

When there is need, all who are able, selflessly rise to the occasion. This spirit of brotherhood is rare in our world and runs so exceptionaly strong here that few others can rival it.

I've had some of the best laughs here and felt some of the deepest sorrows. Seems like it was just yesterday when we met Robbie online on a Friday night after returning home from a failed attempt to go to glamis for the first time. He invited us to the compound and the next day we got to experience the true GD.com hospitality. We weren't in the gate more than 10 minutes before being offered ice cold beverages and welcomed without reserve by several great peeps. I can't even begin to list the names of all the new friends we've made over the last couple of years and a trip hardly goes by where a new name is not added.

I can only hope that we can continue to contribute to this family in a meaningful way for many years to come.
