OK everyone here's the scoop......Yes, it was a pretty serious accident and scary as hell to watch! I did get him checked out at 2 different hospitals and had cat scans done. He's going to be fine, just bumped up pretty bad. The car held up and saved his life.
He can not stress more that he will wear a helmut for now on!!!!!!!! He did not have one on and knows it would prevent head trauma.
He also had his wrist resraint on which would have been ugly being that he was knocked out during the roll down. I can not thank the sheriff, BLM and our friends enough for taking us back to camp and they hauled Don's trailer from pad 1 to the hill to load up the car and bring it to me at the Brawley hospital and hitch up to Don's truck. THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HELPED US OUT ON SATURDAY!!!
