I couldn't smoke da' weed and drive.. lose all coordination.. it's a parker (type) pumper.. has a small filter.. just fresh/clean air. Helps keep out dust and makes it easier to breath with the helmet on. I ran with windshield last trip, but the car needs air and I want the saftey. Wearing a helmet, Hans type neck brace and wrist straps. Wind shield is in the garage. If you're dumb enough to be a passenger with me, same goes for you. We're gonna wreck, just don't know when.

legit question, not poking fun, but do you have asthma, cause I have never felt the need for filtered air into my helmet, does it really make that big of a difference? just would think the dust still gets in the helmet

One doesnt have to have asthma to have a filter...it makes a huge difference between if u want I eat poo in ur helmet, sand pelt u in the face or just be able to breathe when its dusty. Ran once with out a filter and it was a mistake, spent alot of time cleaning the hose, pump and helmet out. The pumps are hidden also to keep direct debris from getting to them.

Pumpers will actually flow enough air through your helmet to keep you sweat free. Unless its really hot out.


Not to thread jack, but we ran our helmets with pumpers, all Easter weekend. On Sunday we were going on a easy ride to China wall with babys in the other cars and my clutch was fried so I knew we woulld be putting.

I gave my teenage daughters the choice helmets or no helmets. No hesitation. They both wanted the helmets.


That's saying something....we all know how teenage girls can be about thier hair

Added a few more shots the dude sent me... Headed for Dumont tomorrow a.m. for a 4 day run. Can't wait to play buggy there. I've only been there with my jeep and had to do switch backs to make it up the steapest stuff.

Have my Baja 5b and also put dirt tires on the Raptor 700. If you haven't been to Dumont, right outside the Dune area are a bunch of sandy/dirt trails. You can blaze throught streams and cool off (that was fun in my jeep with the top off, completely soaked my kids 2 years ago).

I'll be there with 2-3 V8 jeeps (jeepduner), an X-5 Buckshot and possibly Ed (poundsand).

Pretty impressive SCU geometry...........that S4 has not been babied by me or you and still going strong after 3 season.

ABC is the last person who needs a supercharger.......trust me.
