There used to be an ohv area in idyllwild, not sure if its still open. Beaumont was cool to ride but the cops are crazy out there (Illegal riding area). Glen Helen track is here in Devore but make sure you're in shape. Its a rough tehnical track. Then there is El Mirage (El Gestapo with all the rangers there), Johnson Valley, stoddard wells, Dale evans parkway, bell mountain, etc. up in the desert.

There used to be a designated riding area at the top of the Ortega. Not sure if its still there or not. I always see people riding on the east side of the 15 just south of Main st. Not sure if the cops bust you there or not though

The one at the top of the Ortegas is Wildomar ohv park. Its pretty small for a fullsize bike but I might head up there for a little fun anyway. The cops will ticket you over off the 15 and from what I hear, the tickets are getting pretty expensive.
Thanks for all the input, I appreciate it.

Isn't there now (as of a year or so ago) a Riverside County wide ordinance that essentially closes ALL county land (even your own private property) to riding? I believe you can only ride in specifically designated areas. I know there is a big billboard off the 10 freeway out by Palm Desert stating this. Just another example of us off-raoders being legislated off public land.
Not sure about San Berdoo county though.

CNJ, yes. You can't even ride in your own yard in Riverside. San Bernardino county doesn't have that law yet.

True 'Dat. If you are in Riverside County, the azzhats that run the county have outlawed you from riding on your own property.....or anywhere else in the county. SB or SD county will be next, unless they are stopped.
