THERE WAS NOTHING LIKE THE FEELING OF THE GROUND MOVING BELOW US AS WE STOOD ON THE DIRT OFF WOLFE WELL ROAD IN OCOTILLO WELLS. WE COULD HAVE SWORN THE EARTHQUAKE EPICENTER WAS RIGHT BENEATH US. After it finally stopped moving we drove to the main road and checked our phone internet service. We then realized it was close to Mexicali, therefore, close to us and was felt from far away in Arizona, Nevada and Southern Cal.

The power of an earthquake was unbelievable. We saw smoke plumes in the distance, we believe & heard it was rocks falling and rubbing together during the earthquake. We continued to feel earthquakes & aftershocks throughout the windy day. There is a very clear difference between a trailor moving from the wind and moving from an earthquake during the evening. Unbelievable!

Hope all were safe in Ocotillo Wells, Glamis, Superstition etc.

Most people never get to feel the earth move while being out in the open. Usually they are ducking or running!

we were at south park at olds and the ladies had to hold on to the rails that where there it was awsome 2nd one this season out at glamis at olds

yeah, i was out there too... it was incredible - feeling the sand with my bare feet and seeing the trucks sway from side to side - it was epic!

Exactly - Epic is the word to describe it. The smoke in the hills was phenomenal. Wonder if anything changed out at pumpkin patch.

We were out there also, right off Split Mountain road. Just got back from a ride and was standing out side the toyhauler watching it and the toys all shake in different directions. I just got back from being back out there and the grandparents (that live out there) said there still get'n small ones.
