We are currently building/developing a Class 1 car, light and compact, that will be great for smaller engine packages, and not weigh in at 4000 LBS like many.
I will also be a great 2 seat dune masher.
Chassis will be 1 3/4 tubing D.O.M.
Boxed lower front duel pivot a-arms with 1.5 uni-balls
14" x 14 degree 2" hollow spindles
4130 tubing upper duel pivot a-arms with 7/8" heims
2.5 rack with attached control valve on bulkhead style mount
Rear trailing arms are 4130 tube (boxed style later) 30" long
Wheel base will be 115" (can be made longer or shorter)
This should be a fun build. Pictures/updates often:

Had arms done and most of those tubes fit and ready to go, interior dimensions are hard part, want it big enough for 2 wide/full size seats with enough elbow room. Brackets and tabs for front end are being cut, some are done already, some are new specific for this build, steering bulkhead will be just for this car.

You already have it on wheels? I really like the tabs how they "wrap" around the torsion housing. This is going to be a monster.

Geeeees, how much travel do you need...

Only 2 degrees at the end of the travel, thats great... Was it CAD designed?

Yes it was cad designed to give us the maximum possible travel, with minimum bump steer and camber change not starting untill way late in the travel range. Also set up a true duel pivot, so the car is very wide 94" with 7" btr's on the front, but when it is time to transport, raise it with a rachet strap between the two arms, and it will still fit into a toy hauler without hitting fold down seats. This will fit no problem and with no tire change in an enclosed trailer.
