If your tired of the "run of the mill" graphics out there, BRM OFFROAD has some very nice stuff. I'm really happy with these custom ones they made for my sons KX250.

Nice graphics, but whats the deal with the straps on the front rim/tire? I've never seen those?

They're new called TRAC-STRAPS. They fit on any knobby tire, take minutes to put on and seconds to take off. The rubber slots fit snuggly around each knobby and they snap together with quick release squeeze buckles. The straps run down the entire sidewall and around the tire and act like little traction paddles giving you incredible traction and handling in the corners. They hands down outperform any designated "dune tire". Here's a couple of close-ups, one is of my
modded Kings ribbed tire that now performs beautifully.

Looks like it should work pretty good, where did you find them?

Just curious but why would those straps offer any more traction than just a regular sand tire?

Why would you want traction on a front tire?

I think the idea is pretty cool. But more suited for a driving tire...not the front tire of a dirt bike. The straps sort of go perpendicular to the direction of travel. To me it seems like they would actually hinder forward motion. Like more resistance...less floating over.

Sand tires have widely spaced knobs. Adding rubber to the front justs seems like the wrong direction. But at least your bud is inventing stuff with the intent to make riding more fun!! That is awesome.

Ill gladly test a set for him....if ready early summer ill try them out on a glamis nite ride. I would like to see what a rider like woodster or mustmoto thought after a couple hours trying them out.

Your back tire gets better tracton from a paddle right. Well these work like little paddles in the front, and with the straps running down the entire sidewall you never loose traction when your cornering aggressively. Up here in the Oregon dunes the fun stuff is off to the side of the main dunes through the tight twisty trails with 10ft berms every other turn. Smoken through the trails at 35 40 mph is a serious adrenaline rush. With the TRAC-STRAPS you never have to worry about the frontend washing out and can push it to the limit. It's just one of those things you have to try out to understand how well they work.

Makes sense. On a 2 wheel drive motorcycle.
