Got a new toy

Working 12+ hours 7 days a week right now so I havent had a chance to use it... correction, I've had an overwhelming desire to shoot the douche bag I'm working for right now but I havent pulled the trigger.
It was a pretty tough buying process. I walked into the shop, filled out some paperwork, waited 10 minutes, handed over $619, and walked out the door. Gotta love AZ gun laws

Grab my MAWP and I'll be set in CA

Didn't that DOUCHE BAG employer make is possible for you to purchase this gun by employing you? Seems more like a thanks to him would be in order.

PS.....Believe it or not, Walmart sells a vinyl holster for an air pistol that fits my XD Perfectly and its $6! It has a plastic release and also a snap button release. I have been using it for over a year and it still looks new. Check it out!
I never wear my gun on my hip but it works great for protecting the gun when I transport it

The guy he works for DID NOT hire him, and I am guessing the current boss does not have a clue as to what type of work the Weaz does, he just happens to be in charge this week .............

If you know how to aim its more then enough. I train and use this weapon regularly overseas so Im very confident with it.

I am sure their are the few trained persons on this board that a 9mm is enough. I have had my wife put 300+ rounds through my XD45 ACP and 300+ rounds through my XD40 Sub Compact. But in a emergency situation I want her to not have to be perfect on her aim to make sure she puts down the target with 1 or 2 shots. Don't get me wrong, I love my smaller cal. guns. I guess it all depends on the type of needs you have and what the gun is intended to be used for. I always tell her to go for the mossberg first anyways.

Luckily you are a law abiding AZ resident. Without that 10 day waiting period, we Californians will instantly go out and shoot people! Oh well, at least our strict gun laws prevent gun crimes and murder!

The MAWP (military assault weapon permit) will allow a military member to bring weapons that are legal in the state of residency, in to CA while stationed there.
As for CCW, Florida (done via mail

) and Utah will cover you for 31 states

They are very meaning FULL. Ya, there are loopholes but you better make sure you're legal if you get checked out. The fact that a tiny piece of aluminum or plastic is the difference between an illegal "assault weapon" and a legal rifle is very serious.

As long as the following provisions are met:
QUOTE
Active-duty military members residing out of state and assigned to duty in California may bring personally-owned assault weapons into the state. They must be registered with the California Department of Justice prior to the servicemember's arrival in California.
This means it must have been purchased and registered with CA DOJ prior to your arrival.

It would be easy to verify via the date on your orders, if BATF wants to bother.

is that an HK USP .40? If so, that is the gun they issued for the FFDO (Federal Flight Deck Officer) pilot gun. My buddy got one last year for a little less than $500 after the discount. I should have picked one up while I had the chance (before they ended the program) but I already have a .45. Nice gun!

a well placed shot with a .22 will suffice as in a home defense situation.
...my personal preference is my .40 xd, or my para p14 .45
