Had a bad blowout on the trailer on 8 east today comming home from Glamis / I am in a bad spot and cant find the bar for my Jack.....up pulls Steve and Janet and got me rolling again....even offered to follow me to a tire shop because the other wheel was in rough shape....If they hadn't pulled up to help , I would not have made my sons Lacrosse game in Del Mar.

Seeing that pick up backing up down rte 8 withe the gd.com logo on the back was like the calvary cooming to the ruscue.

Steve even had a 12v compressor to get to 65lbs because I went to start my EU2000 to fire up the compresser and BAAAAM....pulled the cord handle out Everything was going wrong!!!

Now Andy, haven't you had a few blowouts this season? Maybe you just need to replace ALL of your old tires so next season you won't have these issues. Sheesh!!! Men, if it ain't broke, they don't fix it. We have NEVER NEVER NEVER had a blowout on anything, but I make it a point to make sure our tires are in good shape. I have seen the damage that can be done from blowouts and it scares the crap out of me.

I stopped twice for people on Easter weekend, pulled one of them with there truck and trailer part way up the grade toward Julian, they lost all forward gears in a blind curve. The other one had a flat on the trailer and no jack. I "reminded" him to pull the good tire up on some blocks and it lifts the bad one up (only on double or tripple axles).
