Hopefully, I'll get some riding in tomorrow.....After breaking my femur last July, I finally got the go ahead to start riding about (2) weeks ago. So we head out to Superstition and unload on a perfect day to ride. I let my kids (ages 18 & 15) and their friend (age 16) go out while I get ready to ride. Well, I wasn't even geared up when I get a call from my 18 years old daughter that my son crashed and is hurt. CRAP!! I head out to the dunes and had to drive the medics up to my son in the 4WD. Long story short, my son has (2) broken ankles and now he's out for (12) weeks. I never did get to ride.

Soooooo, my daughter and I will be heading out for the day tomorrow. Hopefully, we'll be blessed with a 70 degree temp and just a slight breeze. Ground conditions should be epic after the last few days rain.

Thanks, he's doing great...all things considered. He learned a valuable lesson which is "listen to your Dad". He did exactly what I told him NOT to do and went flying off a dune and cased the landing. He know's he screwed up. He told me afterward..."it's kind of like the hot stove thing, your parents can tell you it's hot but you have to touch it yourself to learn your lesson".

OW was great today. Perfect 70 degree weather to start the day but it got to about 82-83 and it was hot when you stopped riding. No injuries but my daughter did fry her clutch.
