Well here is the footage we took of the 2010 dasa car today. This car is very fast for being pretty much stock and the effin suspension is working amazing.

click here for some killer video

How much sag do you have in that thing? I looks like it is sitting up high. When I had mine that high the rear end felt real loose in turns. My a arms are almost flat when sitting still. Also it looks like you need some rebound in the rear end from the slowmo footage. real nice looking Teryx. It took me almost 3 months to dial mine in. I would love to get you my teryx one day for a bbk.

These runs were at 40%

Nope actually really low ..... this kit is different then most kits out there. We drop out the rear arms to the mas anle you can before cv bind. Then take them all the way up close to the fenders. At 30% in the rear the car would be about 11 3/4 to 12 inches off the ground with passengers. in this video the rear is about 11 1/4

This kit has some features that make it turn sweet ......

What kit? ... i have installed and tested about every kit out there and entered all the motion ratios, shock postions ect. in our suspension program.

LOL ..... funny you say that. If you actually look very close in slow mo over the big whoops it needs alittle more spring. It is bottoming and VERY SLIGHLY kicking. We will acheive this with about 1/8 inch more preload. Basically it is bouncing off the bumper a hair. Once we set the car at about 33% in the rear we will be MONEY. It works pretty insane now.

Thanks .... still sooo much to do to it.

I know getting cars setup is tuff. That is why with this kit it will come READY TO ROLL right out of the box.

Hey Steve, I will hit you up when I am ready. I am running the XMF kit. Jimmy did my shocks twice so I can get it dialed. I had to cut my rear fenders about 3 inches since I shattered the first set getting some big air. Tons of travel and nice smooth ride now. I bet I am running almost 50% droop on my machine. The rear of these machines is a pain to get setup. the front was dialed fairly quickly ( month ). Still can't wait to meet up with you in the sand some day.

Yeah i have been working with XMF for awhile. XMF make a great kit and that is the kit i ran while we were developing this kit. The XMF kit is also on FUELATV's car. I sent them shocks back and for the about 4 times and they are pretty close, but wont handle like the car in the video.

YUP .... in my opinion the XMF rear shock length is not correct. By the calculations we did XMF needs to make the rear shock body longer. Then it will have the travel at the droop and not in the fenders at bottom. Not to mention they could even add about another 1/4 inch more of stroke and get about 1/2 inch more wheel travel. I am just VERY ANAL and try to squeeze everything i can out of everything i have. If i had to buy any kit out there BESIDES MY OWN ...... i woudl buy XMF NO QUESTION I have installed and driven about every kit out there.

The kit in the video has about 1/2 inch more travel then the xmf does now.

YUP .... and about 10 1/2 inches off the ground at ride height and ON THE GROUND at bottom.

We only have 2 trips out with 2 different setups and i would say we are 95% there. I think it is more about going in the CORRECT DIRECTION with changes in the suspension. Plus only making one change at a time ........ lets hit it up. I am ready for some night runs.

It is a sik car no doubt ,......

Nice work! looks good too. Those teryx stock (2010 model) look really ugly but when done up they look the best IMO. Really agressive.
Suspension looks great also. I love when someone actually takes the time to get it all dialed in instead of just producing kits and throwing shocks on it.

Thanks ..... i have thought the exact same thing ever since i first saw the 2010. Once it has a sik cage and long travel the 2010 looks the best. Not to mention it has alot of benefits over the 2009.

YUP the problem is designing a kit with correct leverage ratios ect. takes alot of design work. PLUS dialing in the shocks and dialing in the springs takes EVEN MORE TIME. So that time cuts into profit that some people dont want to lose. So they sell the kit and the buyer UNKNOWINGLY does all the testing.

Going out this weekend and most all the other summer night runs. Keep checking the gatherings section. How do you like the lone star kit. They are saying they have 15" in the rear on there new kits. I loved my LS on my rhino. I also really loved it the mT on the first teryx I had with elka elites on it. Love those elkas

I have not run it on the teryx. That is about the only kit i have not installed and run on a teryx.

IMO about any shock will work great ...... as long as it is valved and sprung right ..... THATS THE KEY
