This bike looks so friekin fun to ride. Guy that makes them sent vid asking opinion on the front straps. I cant really tell if theyre helping or not. But the kid riding sure seems to be having fun!! Aint all about finding big jumps...carving this thing has got to be a blast.

Think im actually gonna be in Oregon soon. Dang i should bring my bike up and try out those strap dealios. Gonna have to ride with them before becoming a believer. Whats up can i test ride a fat tire CR500....?

That's bykas stuff here on the board. I gotta say I don't see the need for a fat tire conversion except as a conversation piece/coolness factor. My old 500 and current YZ450F will carve just as tight as that then loose the back tire in a washout, just like the fat tire conversion does. Definitely looks cool though.

What's the deal on the front tire straps? I am trying to figure out how they help in the sand.

That thing looks like fun. The fat tire is awesome for some good floatation. I don't get the straps though? Those Oregan dunes are pretty nice with all the tight transitions.

doesnt look like that bike is doing anything a bike with a stock tire cant do (except change quicky to a dirt tire when I get back home!)
