I wanted everyone's advice on this one. I have an 02 raptor stock except I have a ct full exhaust and a pro design intake Oh one chiped tooth in the front. I dune 80% of the time but I still shoot the hill. I already have some haulers 20x10x10-9 paddles. And I just bought the extreme's for the same rim with 8 paddles.
What do u think is the best set up
thanx in advance.

I absolutely love my ITP sand stars, they are more affordable than the sand skate II's, and after a full season of riding hard on them they show no signs of wear, after 1 season on the sand skates the v part of the paddle was shredding and the same thing happened on my buddies suzuki 400, with that little extra paddle they bite really well, I cant say enough about them.
Rubberneck
My brother is running the ITP's. I've heard nothing but good things about them. Great for duning and good for shooting the hill too.
SHOCKER
Sand stars
BeachHead
I'm pretty happy with the sand stars too...I have them on 3 of my quads...

I was running Skat edge's and haulers since Oct. 00, But I have been schooled on the best duning tires in the world! Go with the Sand Tire Unlimited Mini Desert Trakkers, (staggered) (play-cut or comp.-cut).............hands down you will not find a better duning tire in the free world! They are incredible! Can't say enough about them. For all around duning the best. The compition can't even be in the same room with these tires! icon_cool.gif
SHOCKER
Dude those tires are made for hardpacked/sand, like for superstition, i wouldnt waste money on those, unless you ride at superstition they are not worth it, get a actuall paddle tire like the stars or some skats

I saw those @ fullerton sand sports. u think there better than skat traks extremes?
SanDollars
For an all around tire, you can't do better than Sand Stars for the money. Got 'e on 3 of my quads and Sand Gecko's on one. Big difference in chaching, no difference in performance.

Hey Manuel Raptor! I got for my birthday last september the Edge 20x10x10 with 8 paddles and I love it! Made for great duning and cant keep the front end down! They slide real good and plenty of pick up for the hill. I was suffering until these puppies came along, now life is good! Oh and according to all who ride behind me they roost almost as bad as a banshee with haulers! laughing.gif

I don't know how familiar you are with this tire, but with the staggered cut (play or comp) they conform to the soft sand better than any tire on the market and as far as soft sand thats all I ride, pretty much Glamis. I've been running SKATs since I think the mid to late 80's and not any more. These tires are made better than any tire I've ever seen. They throw no roost at all, or very little, which is good in alot of cases considering the type of rec. riding folks do in groups. They also are incredible in turning, the angle of the paddles and the staggered factor make them a pure joy to run. Not to mention the staight line hook up. Plus they actually float on the sand much better than any tire I've seen or used. The foot print they leave is proof of this. I had a chance to bring all three types out to G and try them all and friends try them also, hands down everyone was ranting on the STU's. rollsmile.gif FYI. I can't comment on the regular STU's because mine are staggered cut and all the ones I've seen out at Glamis are staggered. But I will say this they aren't free, but you get what you pay for.

i've heard nothing but good from sand stars
SHOCKER
The sandstars have been nothing but good to me, if i were to get another paddle the stars are at the top of my list
