Looks great. I love that glass little tile for the back splash. I cant tell if the floor is tile or travertine? If travertine, I only used hot water to wash the floor. Anytime I used any soap or the swiffer pads it was bad the way the floor was sticky. Like a magnet it would suck the dirt off your shoes and then get tracked to the carpet. Even tile better just to use really hot water.

Looks very nice!!

Have you thought about using some cabinet hardware to tie in the cabinets? You can get them on ebay pretty cheap. It made a big difference in my kitchen.

Crowbar
very nice...

another option would have been to get a microwave that mounts over the stove so you have that freed up coutertop space.

We were going to use the over the stove model with the built in vent hood but it was too tall for the opening thats there and I didn't want to replace that center cabinet. I'm actually going to build a custom table/microwave stand for the other side of the kitchen where our old table was. I know that thing looks huge on the counter laughing.gif

Top knotch work, well done. Personally I'd go for a little darker stain on the cabinets. But I can barley get my socks to match, so what do I know.

Looks really great guy's, no wonder it took only six days, you had a full crew working it. At first reading, I thought you were doing the work. Could they have reset the refrigerator into the wall to make it flush with the cabinets? Don't you just hate the little cabinets above the refrigerator, what are you suppose to use those for? I haven't used ours in 18 years, we may have a family of ghost turds living in ours! Enjoy the new kitchen, we'll be over for dinner at say sixish?? tongue.gif
deslboy
turned out really nice. Its amazing what a difference new countertops and appliances make.

Thank you icon_biggrin.gif we did all the work, it was her, me her parents and my dad. The other guys were there only to lay down the counter tops. We did all the demo and leveling as well. icon_wink.gif We were going to buy a counter depth fridge but it was way too expensive.

Thanx Bruddas^^^

We laid down 180 sq ft of Travertine tile on the floor, 26 sq ft of back splash, extended the bar 6" in width and almost 8" in length and removed almost 30 sq ft of carpet to add more floor tiles. I'm still lookin to build a custome table top for a breakfast table in the kitchen but don't have access to all the wood tools right now. Soon enough...

Nice job! Im sure you have that personal satisfaction in DIY.

Another option is to allocate a cabinet for the microwave and trim it out like this..The one doesnt yet have its trim kit installed but you get the idea...

Here are some other examples....Here

Looks great. I used to have that exact same fridge. The counter depth is nice, but you don't get 27 cubic ft. in a counter depth fridge.
