This happens to be my favorite time to ride in Glamis Slappy and I wondered if you were into the summer riding as much as I was? The smooth rippled expanses of un-tracked dunes, the moist chill at the bottom of a bowl followed by the dry heat as you pop out into the sunlight, and the absolute change in the demeaner of the landscape. During the winter months, it seems hectic in the dunes. Even the animals are in a hurry going somewhere. In the summer time, maybe because of the lack of human interaction out there, it seems to slow down. There is no hurry to hit that next peak because it will be smooth and virgin till you get there. You can enjoy having the place all to yourself. I need to get out bad!

I want to do a couple summer runs. I don't have AC in the trailer so it would be a short trip.

Get there at sundown. Leave at sun up. Or just sit in the canal all day. Problem is, you get too wasted in the canal. Fun though. I can't wait

Get down Slap! Where did you learn those moves? I'll see what I can come up with on the story front. I might need to take a three hour drive. For inspiration of course.

Mike,
Let me know. The family won't be up for any, but I will. You can hang in our RV.

Yeah Mike, it's best to go with a group anyways. Ride at night, sleep in the trailer during the day.

Mike,
We won't say anything about the extra hours on the 450R....
Or you can borrow one of the kids bikes... I might be able to keep up then.
