I have 2 quads and I don't know which one to keep.
The first one is a 2007 Yamaha Raptor 700rr with the following mods: DMC Force4 complete exhaust, Pro Armor Race Nerf Bars, Pro Design K&N Kit, DynoJet PowerCommander, and Outerware lid.
The other is a 2008 Honda 450r in like new condition (less than 3 hrs ride time) and completely stock.
I really have no use for 2 quads so one must go. Only problem is I don't know which one to put up for sale.
What would you guys do or recommend?? Thanks

To general of a question to get a true answer but if your just a Dunes only type the Rappy should be fine but I am not a big fan of the Rappy for anything but putting around in the Dez way to heavy for my liking.
And all you Rappy lover blah blah blah fallow me around a MX track for 5 laps and see if you don't notice the wieght.

I guess I left out that bit of info.
I'll be using the bike in the dunes, desert, and at local MX tracks.

Unless your getting paid big bucks to race quads, and the weight is an issue, then go with the 450. If you like to enjoy riding without having to deal with carburators, and something pretty reliable overall, keep the raptor. I have the 06 raptor, and It has brought me nearly 100 hours of trouble free problems. Regular maintenance, like all the others.

sounds like you put some money into the raptor and like that more. Also You will get more money for the stock Honda, and the fact that its a honda (which hold their value the best) wont take such a hit on it. dont have to worry about the clogged jet on the raptor when sitting. sell the honda.

Raptor for me.. I heard them 450s are tuned like Indy cars and have to be rebuilt every 50 hours. Raptor (to my knowlege) isn't tuned that crazy,.. just change the oil and press GO. Unless you're a serious MX racer, etc., I'd chose the Rapt.

They go fast and handle like Indy cars too!

Put em both up for sale and keep the one that doesn't sell.

Then I say Keep the TRX 450 for sure!!! Sell the Raptor - I have the 700 and love it in GLAMIS,.....I use a 2 wheeler on the track....Raptor may be a bit bulky for the track IMHO

450 is a better all around bike. The 700 is great if you are 250+ and only ride in the dunes.
