Hi Everyone,
I want to switch to 2, 6 volt batteries instead of 2, 12 volt batteries. Where can I find the bigger 6 volt battery boxes in the Upland/Ontario area? Does Bass Pro Shops carry these? Also are the 6 volt batteries at Sam's Club as good as Interstate Batteries? The Sam's Club batteries are about half the price of Interstate Batteries! Thanks for the helpful advice!

I added 2 more 6V batts. to my toy hauler from Batteries Plus. They had the Boxes too. The batteries were about $100 each, they have the BP logo, but also have an everyready(?) logo on them too. I slow charged them for 2 days in the garage before I installed them right before we left for a week dune trip. It was cold and we made it thru every night without having to crank the genset. I have 2 12V batts that came in the trailer when we bought it. When those go south, i'll be putting 2 more BP batts to replace them. (I worked on RV's for about 6-7 years for Beaudry RV, before going back to work for the Air Force.

Thanks BBT! I called Batteries Plus and am going there right now to pick up two, six volt battery boxes. I have called about 10 places and they are the only ones who have these 6 volt boxes in stock. I think I will buy the 6 volt batteries at Sam's Club though because they are $25.00 less each (they are $74.99 at Sam's Club versus $99.00 at Batteries Plus). Both batteries are rated at 220 amp hours and Sam's Club has a 6 month replacement warranty on their batteries. Anyway, thanks again and have a great day!!!

If you end up needing more boxes, which you will probably end doing, Arrow trailer in Ontario has always seemed to have 6V boxes in stock.

I am on (6) 6V from Sam's Club. I have had them for over 2 years with zero issues so far.
