I need to replace the seat switch and I can't figure out how to get the lumbar knob off. Is there a secret or just use brute force get it off?
Thanks

Does SD mean Super Duty? If so, there is probably a good Ford technician on here that could answer you. You might want to change the topic title to clarify. I personally wouldn't force it, you might break it.

I just did this on my Excusion.

There is a cable that runs from the knob to the inside of the seat back. First, turn the knob all the way in ( to release all the cable tension) This exposes the cable by aligning a slot in the knob that the cable will then slide out of. You will see there is a ball at the end of the cable that holds it in place.

BTW...This is much easier to see with the seat out of the vehicle.

Give me a call if you need any more help with it. (909)921-7571
