I have absolutely nothing to add to this post and personally could care less. I just hope a duner doesn't get screwed by a crooked builder (not saying racer is crooked). I've been there, I bought a Ricochet in the past LOL. I'll let you finish that story on your own.

I'm not sure if I'd sign up for 6th. grade if I were you. Kindergarten, or possibly 1st. (if your lucky), may see your typing and spelling skills as a more appropriate fit for their grade......

I have to honestly say i've never read a block of replies that was so bad, I was actually rooting for the other guy. He could be preaching the death of all puppies, children under 6 years old being stuck in factories to make shoes for 1 penny a day, and a socialist nation for the US, but if you were responding to that debate in the same manner as you have this one, I think I would be asking the other guy were I could send money to help support his cause........

I'm actually pretty proud of you right now. Outside a space bar between the last word of every sentence and the ending punctuation, that was a good reply. Even the multiple !'s and o's are perfectly acceptable in a forum.

If you think your getting current responses due of a few misspelled words than your mistaken. Your typing, both in spelling and format, is the equivalent of going out in public with some nasty BO. If your shoes are untied, your hair isn't perfectly fixed, or you left a button undone, people could care less about those imperfections and won't say anything, but when you smell like you took a bath in urine, then walked in the hot sun to get there, you are forcing other people to smell you by being around them, so you don't get to say "well I guess the best part of your day is checking people for BO" when they snicker at you.


It's not that hard, when you type, just reread your post, and if there are a bunch of underlined words, just right click and use spell check. It only takes a few seconds to proof read and people will take you more seriously.

People make mistakes in forums all the time, the spelling/grammar police doesn't come out until the replies are so bad that it's physically hard to understand what someone is saying......

Hey Dale, congratulations on the new shop! It looks like an awesome place. I'm glad to see you have so much activity, looks like you have a lot of builds underway. I look forward to seeing it when I get out your way again.

Trial for who, what and where?

Did it ever occur to you that maybe Dale doesn't want to throw your buddy under the bus? Also, you talk like it was Dale that filed the false Police report. It was your friend that obviously did this. I don't understand where you are coming from on this. Your friend asks Dale to sell his car for him which is something that many people do. I have done this myself. In my opinion there is nobody better to sell your car for you than the builder since he is always talking with people who are looking to buy. Then five months after your friends car is sold, YOUR FRIEND files a false Police Report. How do you figure that Dale is to blame for that? And one last thing, you think there is some kind of smoking gun here because there is a picture of your friends car at Dale's house! Once again I fail to understand how or why this means anything. I have had both of my Racer's at Dale's home at one time or another. It just sounds like jealousy run amuck to me.

I just ask a Question and Dale can answer on his own. It took Dale 1 min. to through Jim Watkins under the bus, and the list goes on. And jealous of what- his hair- or his house-or his busn- his wife, people that know me know thats not it, I just don't like people that do things like this. what if there was no 5 months- look I'm over it, in the end we will see if Dondale is Racer ex or Racer ex con.

Maybe the police has asked him to stay quite on the issue, until the court case is over? Just Sayin!!!

Thats true-I just though he could say he had nothing to do with it. If he is telling the truth? I will apologize! and if it were me I would get the facts out. The time frames just don't add up. So far his friends are doing a good job of defending him- There was no police rade @ his busn. or his house? If its was that easy?why are the police involved? Wide load is it better not to through your friend under the bus! or better to tell the truth? This is not some small thing like- telling your friends wife he was working on your house, but was really at the bar. When will it be cool to tell the truth, Have Jay and his friends come on here and tell thier side of the story. I'm not against you guys that are Dale's friend and I would defend a friend too- so no hard feeling. It just sucks that this had to happen. I am defending a friend (Watkins ) , Dale has said that Jim's engines were junk and that he built the engine wrong. That was a pro street engine in that car and was built for short blast, not desert racing, it burned oil, and all big blocks burn oil. So I'm defending a friend.

Sounds to me like your just throwing in the towel because you have nothing to back up your accusations. And jealous of his hair, house, wife, business? I would say probably all of those! You seem to know a tremendous amount about him. Why? I have always found in my fifty years of life experiences that when you are on top, someone always wants to tear you down and most times it stems back to good old jealousy. Just my .02.

Oh I forgot about your comment on Watkins. I never heard about Dale throwing him under the bus but from what I know of the guy, he probably deserved it. I tried to buy a motor from him and he was a real flake in my opinion. Also, why would he sell a pro street motor to a guy that he knew was going to put it in a sand car? And one last thing, I saw one of his motors grenade on DCB's car on one of it's first trips out. If that happened to me, I most likely would be more than a little up tight at the engine builder.

DCB bought all his own parts and Jim fixed it--I'm sure not all your info is true- there is 2 side to every story. Why would Watkins not want to build you a motor- sounds funny- Ask Mike about the pro street motor? I see your point. I talked with Dale and he gave me his side. What do you know about Jim? I know he builds engines and has for along time- all the engines I have got from him ran fine (8 engines). Jim said that he messed up on Daves engine and he fixed it. It all has to do with money. Its good to be on top and it sounds like in your 50 years you have been on top and yes I would love to be on top of every thing I do. I have my boat @ Daves now- so I think I know the story on his car and I think Dave and Jim are cool. I was hoping that Mike was telling the truth.

I am a friend of Dale's, but even if I wasn't I would have to tell you, that I feel very sorry for you. If you were to go back and read your posts with an open mind, you would have to agree that you sound like a jealous, pathetic person, with no self pride.

You would think that a guy like you would put his talents to better use, rather than worry about whats going on with Dale Dondel. If you are so sure that he is guilty, than hand over all your evidence to the police, and let them handle it. You are wasting your time trying to convict Dale on this forum. It raises the question as to what your agenda really is......... I seriously don't think the Police are going to "try" Dale on Glamis Dunes.

I started this post to inform Glamis Duner's about Dale's New Shop. If Dale is guilty of something, then he will have to pay the price. If you have nothing better to do than worry about Dale, than I suggest you consider therapy.

Personally, I would much rather have Dale's problems, than your Problems......

One of my best friend has that Dcb car and second trip out boom... It blew up they put it back together ....who ever would build a sand car motor with 15 /1 compresion is not the sharpest tool in the shed....sad thing about it blown ls-2 were kicking his a$$.... Not to impressive ....also what about the terrible herbiest 665 ci big block second trip boom .... I heard even the locals in Bakersfield our scared to use him....just reporting what I've witnessed.....the dcb car is now getting a twinn turbo small block....

I never said that he didn't want to build me a motor. I said that I thought he was a flake. I tried to order a motor but he would never return my phone calls. When I would call, whoever answered the phone would tell me that he had another type of job and was just building engines on a limited basis. I would leave my name and number but would never get a returned phone call. That is what I consider to be a flake. He may be a great engine builder but he proved to me that he was a very poor business man.

Jsp is 150% on the mark and all the facts are and can be obtained on the Internet.Why throw crap at each other because Dale and Mike did something dishonest let's all just wait and see what august brings.......

I just want to say nice shop Dale and congrats to being very busy in this economy. You must be doing something right.
I am probably one of the poorest folks on this forum. I would love to be able to own a racer. A friend of mine has one and it is probably one of the nicest piece of equipment I have ever seen. The fit and finish and design is top notch. I have met Dale personally and talked with him at the dunes before. Though he probably never remember me but atleast he treated me like a normal person. I asked him a question and he honestly answered it. He didn't belittle me because I don't have a million dollars and wasn't buying one of his cars. He treated me like we have known each other for 20 years. I thought he was an oustanding guy. If what happend is true, and I don't believe it is, then that sucks but I wont think any different of Dale. People make mistakes in life and we learn from our mistakes and don't do it again. Well most of us. Hope things turn out good and he keeps building top notch cars.

I have no dog in this fight either way, but if someone,,. ... anyone ... was party to a $100,000+ felony insurance fraud scheme and got 30 days community service, there is something wrong with the criminal justice system... and please .. give me that defense attorney's name and number (I'll keep it on file, just in case).
