Chummin
Had my LTZ up to 80..
SHOCKER
Hey chummin how did ya get it to 80? did ya re-gear? do you have any mods? and where? i took my Z to top speed for first time this weekend, oh man it was fun i didnt know how fast though
Thelast929
Using a GPS my KX250 does exactly 70mph on the canal road.
Stock everything my 03 Raptor only got up to about a very scary unstable 64mph before I ran out of BLVD. at a stop light.
I've seen an indicated 180mph on my CBR, but at the Dyno they said my speedo is just about 8% off.
The effin Ranger will only allow 97.2 mph before it hits the limiter. Damn Ford saftey faulks.

thelast-what yr ranger? my 94's speedo stops at 80 but ive been keeping up w/ my friend in his toyota, his speedo was 105, i was barely keeping up.

shocker- really???did it seem that fast? when i max out my Z i feel like doin it one handed or something, i need a pipe for more power, i get so bored in 4/5 gear now.
Brandon Long
I have done 70 on my three wheeler, and thats with a speedometer.. I get to nervous to keep going though..

mx bikes top out at 70 usually geared from the factory. My banshee isn't as fast as those bikes and I figure it tops out around 65. My 500 is geared to about 95 right now and has the power to pull it in the sand but I'll most likely go down several teeth.

80 is fast for an LTZ400, even with basic mods.

Hell yeah it is!! Bansh88's buddy has a crf450. Only hit 71mph max on the flat stuff by test hill.... It was geared low but 80 on a bike (no matter what kind) is fast as hell.

rubberneck, wont be like that w/ my friends 250 =)
Rubberneck
if it's a 250, yes it will. If it's bored out it's not a 250. You give me an honest 250 that I can't pull away from and I'll hand over my title. Not gonna happen.
Fireballsocal
Mine says 250 on the plastics. Will that work? laughing.gif
24v
A stock geared yfz will do right around 75 on pavement. I have had mine to 80 with a larger sprocket in the front, also on pavement. It still had more to go, but my huevos are not large enough to see how much more. icon_biggrin.gif

You should have left the stickers on it! You lost 4 HP by removing them.
TANK
according to my gps. 67.7mph on the tank. and 69.4 on my shee. shee is getting re-geared this season. it wastes all the stock gearing. i did this on wash road when it was.....to effn hot. both bikes had more but im only willing to go so fast over whoops laughing.gif rollsmile.gif
RideSand
I HAD MY EX TO 85, BUT I THINK THAT WAS ALL IT HAD. I RAN OUTTA ROOM, BUT IT DIDNT FEEL LIKE I WAS STILL GAINING.... s*** YOU NOT.
SHOCKER
IS the ex stock? has it been re-geared? whats on it?
Dunegoat
78.6 was the fastest I have been on my Z
per my GPS
