we have done Bee Mtn several times and wanted to try something new. Recently they reopened up 4SO9 and a few other trails that had been closed over the last couple of years. Well the weather was perfect (75 degrees) and the trails were near empty. Best part is we staged just 18 miles from my house! took a few pics beer.gif

tried a new spot this time off the 243. About 1 mile past the vista grande fire station there is a small turn out with enough room for 3-4 trucks. The trail had just been graded for the first few miles too, It was several miles of drifting around the corners. 1dude.gif

I'd like to check this ride out. Is it near the Bee Canyon ride? The water spot looks the same. Where is the staging area?

yeah this connects into the Bee mtn trails. I staged off the 243 on 4S05. It starts on the trails that were recently reopened. I have always started at bee mtn and just tried staging at 5000ft vs the bottom of the mtn.

Corral Canyon, not as much elevation butt easy to get to. You can access from Pine Valley, or drive into the stageing/ campground area.

Love the pic of the kids in back, memories. My enduro club is always up and around there and we always stop at Jo-anns for lunch at the top of Idylwild. Here is a couple of pics of your waterhole.
