NOTICE OF MEETING
OFF-HIGHWAY MOTOR VEHICLE RECREATION COMMISSION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation
(OHMVR) Commission, pursuant to authority contained in Section 5090.24 of the
Public Resources Code and Section 1120 et seq. of the Government Code, will
meet May 7, 2004 according to the following schedule:
Friday, May 7, 2004
9:00 a.m. Festival/Jubilee Room
Hilton Burbank Airport and Conference Center
2500 Hollywood Way
Burbank, California 91505
The Commission will review the 2004/05 Minor Capital Outlay projects; have
Election of officers; review committee memberships; and discuss HR 3247.
12:00 p.m. Tour of Rowher Flat, Angeles National Forest.
The public is welcome to attend the tour but
must provide own transportation and lunch. No
action will be taken by the Commission on the
tour.
Information on agenda items will be available for review at the Department of
Parks and Recreation's District offices at Ocotillo Wells SVRA, 5172 Highway 78,
Borrego Springs; Oceano Dunes SVRA, 576 Camino Mercado, Arroyo Grande;

NOTICE IS GIVEN that any person may file a written statement on the proposed
actions by writing to the undersigned or may present written statements at the
meeting on February 21, 2004. Any person handing out written material to the
OHMVR Commission should also provide the Recording Secretary with an
additional four (4) copies making a total of thirteen (13) copies. Inquiries may be

(1) The Commission will proceed through the agenda in order until the agenda is completed. Only those matters listed
under Unfinished and New Business are action items upon which the Commission may take action. The Commission
will take a lunch recess at approximately noon. The agenda will be interrupted at approximately 11:00 a.m. on Friday,
May 7, 2004, for public comment.
Commissioners/staff should request that an item be placed on the agenda prior to printing. No action may be taken on
any item of business unless it appears specifically on this agenda [Gov. Code §§ 11122, 125 (a) and (b
(2) No action may be taken on any item included under "Reports" [Gov. Code § 11122, 11125(a) and (b
(3) PUBLIC TESTIMONY: Those persons wishing to address the Commission during Unfinished or New Business or the
11:00 a.m. public comment period must fill out the Public Comment form. Members of the audience presenting written
or graphic material as part of their public comments to the Commission are requested to provide thirteen (13) copies
