The sun has set on the stern today,
Home we are heading, finally on the way,
East we travel, with pride in our heart,
As those going west, just got thier start,
I think I am lucky, as the news has shown,
Because some of our boys, are not comming home,
They paid the price for all to see,
Freedom is everthing, everthing but free,
This is for them and for those that fall,
I will stand and salute the flag for you all,
With Respect for those we have lost.

Amen, just hope that when the guys come back they get treated with the respect they deserve, and not looked down upon for fighting a war that so many are opposed to. I will support our troops, and give them they respect they deserve for a job well done. no matter what!

Regardless of my feelings about our situation or the events that got us there, our entire military force is deserving of the greatest respect imaginable. I can't believe a single American could feel otherwise.

The blanket of freedom worn by ALL americans is provided by the few and the proud.. go in to the sunset as a hero with your head high - In my familys eyes there is no better a man or woman then a patriot of the United States..
Thank you.

How do you think they recover from that, if they are fortunate enough to make it home "safe"? Do they just shut it off?"
The toughest SOB I ever knew, my dad, landed on the beach at Normandy almost 60 years ago. He was a few days past his 18th birthday. The nightmares haunted him until the day he died.
I have the highest respect for those who are fighting for and serving their country.
I just hope the price, we as a country, are paying and going to pay is worth it.
No Cheer today,
