Hello fellow duners,
I'm sad to say my dog is gone, but I'm glad to say she is not suffering anymore. She will always be a great dog, I got her when I was ten years old in elementary school 5th grade she's been with me all the way through college! she was honestly my best friend, she's been to all of our favorite camping trips, whether it was Pismo, Dumont, Glamis, Gorman, Santa Barbra, the desert she was with us! I'm going to miss you dog!

Saying goodbye to a loved doggie is hard! May she RIP and from all the places she went she sounds like she will be missed thoroughly, but definitely had a wonderful person to call her own and let her tag along on so many adventures!

I'm sorry for your loss, it's so hard to say good bye. I cry every day for Miss Lacey but at least we know they no longer hurt.

So sorry to hear. What was her name? She looks like our old guy bullet. We've had him since 97. It is going to be very hard to say goodbye to him when the time comes.

Her name was Chilly, in reference to her sister litter dog named Ginger whom my uncle owned. She will always be remembered, and I cannot thank you all for your support and to all the others who have been through this. Out of respect I posted pictures of her when she was around eight and ten years old when she looked better, the way i want to remember her.

So sorry for your loss. RIP Chilly.
It is so painful to make the decision and follow through with it. We hate to do it because we love them so much. However, in the end it is that same love that tells us what we must do.

Sorry for your loss, looks like she got to live life to the fullest and that is all a dog/human can ask for.

You know what really thank you all, my vet whom I think is one of the best put it this way. "Every living creature has to die sooner or later," it sounds harsh but he said it in a very sincere manner. Meaning he put it as a equal basis, meaning all animals and was comforting.

RIP Chilly...

Our 2 dogs are just like our kids and my kids love them and they become such a huge part of our lives. She was a beauty and DONE said it, she had picked an awesome human (they pick us not the other way around

) and enjoyed a wonderful full life surrounded by love. Rest In Peace and you will be missed Chilly!
