Its the cover bike in the latest ATV rider magazine. Leager's Built it teamed up with Big Gun. It's a hit back in Europe. couldn't race it in most series here though.
from all of my 5 minutes with the bike. it takes about 3 kicks to get it to fire cold. throttle is VERY snappy and rev's really quick. some issues with the swing arm and chain lining up. (engine wasn't built for a atv swing arm)

yes, its real. go pick up the latest issue of ATV Rider magazine. Justin Noss was the test rider for it and was shot out in Adlelanto.

Yep as soon as Honda puts there 2K10 CRF motor in a alluminum frame TRX that is track ready

That thing is horrid looking, and yes there is a new Honda on the way.

I wouldn't hold my breath for any new, re-designed race oriented bikes from anyone. The market would have to make a full turn arround. Since the big 4 japanese aren't ALL participatind in off road racing we won't see it.

Maybe the same time we see a LTR250 - not happening.

The only thing new we get is the highland 450, and it appears to be a 250R clone with a husaberg engine. And who knows how much $$ that is.

And yes that is a ugly bike.

I doubt we'll ever see an edgy, race type honda ATV ever again. If anything more "Big Red" UTV type stuff.

LOL, Iam glad you got to ride it steve but it sounds like a pile, sounds like the fab work was CRAP.. Swing arm and chain not lining up? hmmm I have stock CR500 engines in ATC's, stuck a busa engine in a banshee, sounds like the fab work to get it in there was shotty. It looks like a pile IMHO,

You wont see this engine get near a sport quad from the factory. its a shame. but the engine is like 18mm's thinner in which thus causes sprocket alignment issues for a swing arm for a quad, a bike its fine plus you have a much larger rear sprocket to keep it off the swing arm. ya there wasnt much plastics that mated up with this but overall was a pretty bitchin' ride. the poor guy who made it cut his finger's off before the bike was finished. thus another reason why it isnt perfect. this was the first of a batch.

Just guessing here but they are the only ones who don't have a 450 thats fuel injected and the 2K10 CRf's are and they don't have a battery but I wouldn't count on a kick starter but E-start instead. So it won't be a exact switch out.
They also are the only ones who don't have the Alluminum frame so i would expect that from them.

What you won't see is a real race ready quad like the YFZ-R or KTM but more like the YFZ-X. Honda allways takes there time and puts something out that allways handles great so I figure this is where there having the Engineering nightmare trying to get that Honda geomentry to work in the Alluminum frame.
