I had to post this!

We did a photoshoot today for an upcoming story on some past Honda champions and their bikes so I had to have the photographer click one of me with the bike! Lighting isn't the greatest....but I just had him snap one before he started screwing with the lights.

Anyways....to me, this bike (and the rider of course) redefined supercross. Sure he was dominant on other bikes, other years....but his near perfect SX season in '96 was amazing at the time. Hope you guys enjoy it.

Very cool, but you left a lil something on the seat my friend!!

Jeremy didn't start off as my favorite, but his attitude, ability and desire to elevate Supercross made him my all time favorite!!

Sweet ride! And an awesome rider. I've got a picture of me and Jeremy after he won Anaheim in 96... I need to dig that up.

Did you guys know MC raced with a '92 frame all the way until 97? He hated the new aluminum framed bikes, and that along with a bunch of other political b.s made him switch to the Zooks.

Not necessarily true. He really liked the geometry and feel of the '93 frame...doesn't mean it was a '93 frame though. sraptor.gif

Scroll down about half way and there's some more pics that were shot outside after all the other bikes were shot in the studio.

Doh! Ya you're right, it was the 93 frame he raced throughout the rest of his Honda days.. I had a 92 Cr250 and the frames were junk. Broke two of them lol

Be patient......one of Baileys bike's was included in the shoot. Every time I look at his 85 full works bike I'm in awe. There are so many one-off handmade parts that are like fine art. Then you look at his 86 and wish they wouldn't have got rid of the full works bikes in racing. While it's still an awesome machine even though it's production based, it just doesn't have the wow factor of the full works bikes.

They had a legends night a few weeks ago with MC and only about a 100 people. They had a doc. on his racing career. The movie would stop about every 10 min. and he would answer ?'s. He was great, my boys got to meet their idol ( dad too). He was ask which year steel frame bike he raced. He said every year he would try the newer frame, but would always go back to the 93 bike. MC was a class act.
