I have the 8" baja designs 100w light on my yz426 (pictured below) with the eline stator, and I was wondering what it takes/costs to convert it to HID? It has the space in the back of the housing for the ballast already, so theres no need for a new shell.

I shot wheelie bar two Pm's this week and still haven't heard from him about some HIDs I would like to pick up. Delt with him in the past and he is a pleasure to work with and knows his stuff!!

Baja Designs has the kit you need. You need to add a small battery in the air box or it may fit in the housing also. Also need to change the regulator you have now for a rectifier/regulator to turn the AC from the stator to DC. The DC will then feed the battery and the battery will feed the new HID ballast.
