Our Thor Tahoe came with a propane gas line for an outside barbque. When I hook the "Q" up to the line the flame will not be large enough to cook on. The regulator does not change the size of the flame. If I use a bottle the "Q" does just fine. I am thinking that the propane gas line is hooked up after the regulator on the propane tanks and is not letting enough gas pressure through to the line.
Is this my problem and if so how would I correctly hook up the gas line?
Thanks D.L.

I had the same problem connecting gas bbq to outside home gas line. The gas was already regulated, thus didn't need the regulator that came with the bbq. Small flame with regulator when connected directly to the house and couldn't get the BBQ past 350 degrees. When I put a bottle on, it would heat to 800+ degrees when all knobs on the "Q" set to high. I would try just running direct from the thor gas line directly to the "Q" without the "Q" regulator that's used to connect to the bottle. What's the worst that could happen? Wait... don't answer that icon_biggrin.gif

you can go to camping world and get an adjustable regulator with a knob on it to turn up the pressure or move the reg after the pipe.

First id check for spiders or crap in the line blocking the flow. Take apart and blow with air gun.

good luck

oh and make sure thr bbq doesnt have its own reg
