Here's one of my Sand Car engines in Mustang. 9.92 @ 139 MPH. Yeah, I had some traction issues but you get the point. All motor passes, no nitrous full interior Mustang...

Not good. 1.5 sixty foot times. I was having traction issues because I have not set the car up yet... I'm working on that now. 9.60-9.70 times should not be a problem when it start hooking and some l low 8's on the bottle.

the car didnt look like it transfered at all and didnt hit the tire very hard either. was that off a foot brake or trans brake? get that 60 down into the teens and youll be flyin.

Agreed; 450-500hp usually carries the front for a ways with the Fox bodies. 90/10s?

Off the foot brake and 1500 RPM. No way could I use the trans brake. <(Blow the tires away)
The shocks were all set to max... I had no adjustment in them. And my instant center is off too because the car is lowered. I knew all this before I went to the track so it's no surprise. It was more of a shake run to see if everything was working <(engine, tranny, goes straight, yada, yada) The lower control angle will be changed and the shocks will be played with the next time out... And of course it will be on the bottle. I'll probably have to change the gearing too. It has a 3.70 gear in it now, but it will probably need a 3.50 or higher when I start stepping up the giggle gas... And it should have a purpose build drag motor in it by then too... Not a used Sandzilla Sand Car engine.

Hey, I've been out of drag racing for 20 years. On the second video when you cross the finish some numbers come up near the tree. What do those numbers mean?

I'm sure someone will chime in. I didn't even know what the 25.2 and 25.3 certs meant but I Googled it and found out. Good to see SFI regulating the cages.

i dunno what those numbers are. the display looks like a dial in display. what track did ya run at clay?

Normally they display your dial in times then after launch they display your reaction times then they display the finish line difference, being it was just time runs the final number could have been erroneous

8.72 @ 159 is my best so far. Here's one of my spinning starts... I have that worked out now, but now I can't keep the rear bumper off the ground!

Probably 50+ passes and counting on my old Sand Rail engine... Built Ford tough with old Sand Rail stuff.
