For his continual effort to provide something special for the Young Guns of our website. His latest achievement is getting Slap's OK on displaying the Winner of the Young Guns Jr Builder competition at the upcoming SSSS.

FullThrottleFlores placed first with his Tap Out themed ATC 70. You think this would be old news right? Well, not really. The perks just keep coming for these kids. As we guide the future duners down the right path of being a responsible duner, we also give them things to look forward to and to keep them interested. So with a little discussion with the stickman, we decided that the pride of ownership shouldn’t just stop at the Regatta. GlamisDunes.com has decided that the winner of this years Junior Build and every Junior Builder category winner from here on will have the opportunity to display their bike in the GlamisDunes.com booth at the Sand Sport Super Show and/or the Extreme Show. NOW THAT’S COOL!

So, with that being said FullThrottleFlores, you better get your bike cleaned up and rebuilt because you are the first of the Junior Builders to show your ATC70 at the Sand Sport Super Show this September 2010.

BBT and lil Debbie, you guys did not know any of us from Adam, but you came up from Tucson with a loaded pick up FULL of a smoker, MEAT, MEAT and more MEAT, all the fixins and helped put on one of the BEST parties that AZ has had to date. Welcome to the GlamisDunes.com family, THANK YOU BOTH FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK, GREAT FOOD, HUGS, LAUGHS, Ice Cold Delicious Beverages!!!! You two are amazing, lookin forward to many Glamis trips to come!!!! Thanks He...er Tank and Deb!!! ph34r.gif

Razor and Joyce, you two are THE Hosts with the Most! Thank you once again to opening the Resort to all of us, I know it takes alot of hard prep work to open your entire home and trailer for 3-4 days!!! We love you guys long time, you and BBT 1000000% deserve this honor!!!! hug.gif

I think that this deserves DOTM because this is EXACTLY what good duners do! Yeah, it wasn't in the sand, but 2 Duners met a bunch of folks online here and came out and met some friends for life via GlamisDunes.com. And Mike and Joyce opened their "campsite" (aka home) with open arms to all comers and we all had another epic GD.com Weekend! And we all got to see BadWeazl driving his buggy. laughing.gif

I would like to nominate Squatcher (Paul) and Hotrnhell (Chad) for there tireless help in helping Booshy, Supreme Air and me get out of the dunes at the end of May.
They would not give up...I'm sure most of you read the story, but I gotta say those 2 guys were awesome. Also a huge shout out to DirtywhiteBoy, Norm and WildBill and the guys in the Jeeps.
What an adventure!

Well, I am going to "sort of" second QG's nomination but add even more to the pileup laughing.gif
Yes, the party was awesome and the nomination for those involved is warranted BUT the help that was given in different ways to Jim and I by some of those listed and even other duners stands out for me even more than the party itself. For those who don't know, our tranny blew a seal at some point on the way to Phoenix. Being a mechanic almost 700 miles from home SUCKS....$4.30 seal that was going to cost us $$$$$ to have repaired when Bukit could do it himself with a lift and tools icon_sad.gif
Sure enough, duners to the rescue-after getting some names on here and from KG for referrals of tranny repair places, Laidbackduner (Tom G.) called and was able to offer us the use of yet ANOTHER duner's shop (Wally...don't think he posts here) with a lift and tools! yay.gif
So, Bukit was off the the west side to work on the truck while I and the kids set out to have some fun at Mike and Joyce's with some old and new friends. The job didn't go as quickly as hoped and about 10 PM Bukit calls and needs a ride. Though I was sure I was fine to drive, Mike and Joyce insisted that Joyce drive me over to get him, which was a good hour or so round trip, ensuring I didn't have any problems (like a DUI). The next morning we realized we had another snag....I had driven over with the boys in my Dad's S-10 and Bukit needed help at the shop getting the tranny back on the jack to get it in the truck....no way we were all fitting in the cab of the truck and yet another duning family (KG and QG) lent us their Suburban for a few hours so we could "get it done" smile.gif
IMHO, this is what sets DUNERS apart....the willingness to go above and beyond in so many ways to help out when needed! Tom, Wally, Mike, Joyce, Doug, Cortni....Thank you ALL....you'll be our "Duners of the Month" even if voted differently here!
