Well, I am going to "sort of" second QG's nomination but add even more to the pileup

Yes, the party was awesome and the nomination for those involved is warranted BUT the help that was given in different ways to Jim and I by some of those listed and even other duners stands out for me even more than the party itself. For those who don't know, our tranny blew a seal at some point on the way to Phoenix. Being a mechanic almost 700 miles from home SUCKS....$4.30 seal that was going to cost us $$$$$ to have repaired when Bukit could do it himself with a lift and tools

Sure enough, duners to the rescue-after getting some names on here and from KG for referrals of tranny repair places, Laidbackduner (Tom G.) called and was able to offer us the use of yet ANOTHER duner's shop (Wally...don't think he posts here) with a lift and tools!
So, Bukit was off the the west side to work on the truck while I and the kids set out to have some fun at Mike and Joyce's with some old and new friends. The job didn't go as quickly as hoped and about 10 PM Bukit calls and needs a ride. Though I was sure I was fine to drive, Mike and Joyce insisted that Joyce drive me over to get him, which was a good hour or so round trip, ensuring I didn't have any problems (like a DUI). The next morning we realized we had another snag....I had driven over with the boys in my Dad's S-10 and Bukit needed help at the shop getting the tranny back on the jack to get it in the truck....no way we were all fitting in the cab of the truck and yet another duning family (KG and QG) lent us their Suburban for a few hours so we could "get it done"

IMHO, this is what sets DUNERS apart....the willingness to go above and beyond in so many ways to help out when needed! Tom, Wally, Mike, Joyce, Doug, Cortni....Thank you ALL....you'll be our "Duners of the Month" even if voted differently here!
