I dont want to do anything TOO fancy to it. Bigger wheels and tires, and prolly a lift kit. It go back and fouth between the river and the washes in G.

Any sugestions on where to get the mods for it, and what to do, and NOT to do, would be greatly appricated!!!

Thanks in advance...

give us some info on what you have cart wise? EZGO/Club,,, Robinson/G motor? Year would be nice too, i think when we do ours we might just purchase our lift and other peripherals from the cart guy. Stereo wise pretty sure we (I) are going to do it ourselves...

I would probably go to the Pomona Swapmeet for rims&tires. I bet you could get a good price for the whole set there. The lift kit through our cart guy was $500. Paint was about double that, or we can just order different color plastics for around $500. Our biggest issue, it is stock right now and barely fits in the trailer so a 3"-5" lift plus bigger tires is gonna make it impossible to fit inside the TH. dunno.gif Maybe Big Papa can man handle it into the back of the truck laugh1.gif

It's an Ingersol-Rand gas Club Cart. It's a pre 2000.5. It's actually Shelvis's cart. I'm fixing it up for her!!

I'm think'n lift kit and wheels and tires? I dont think I need LT stuff. From what I can tell so far, 22" tires on 8" wheels should give some good flotation, yes? no?

Can you get 22s under it with just a lift kit? Or do you need an LT set up?

Thanks for all of the help!!

If you want any good free info, just call The Cart Guy and tell him what you want and ask for some prices. He will tell you whatyou can and can't do and give you costs. All it costs you is some time on the phone.

I can;t remember his name, I think it's Tom or Tim, but he is the owner and is always there. His son does all or most of the deliveries.

I got a set of 22x11x10 tires on chrome rims with chrome lug nuts for $150 shipped on ebay. I had to look around for about a week, but they popped up every so often.

I had to get a 6" lift to clear those tires though. I think you could stay with a 3"-4" inch lift if you stay with 20" tires? on 8" rims even--cheaper I think.

A basic lift with blocks and/or spacers is all you need. It won't ride like an LT, but if she's just cruising than it will be enough.

I would think one of the clutches would need to be re-worked if the motor stays stock, especially if she's going to be in the sand with passengers. It's easy in the rear..just a new spring and the kits are cheap. Not all front clutches can be modified, and after market clutches like comets are pricey

good luck
Shelvis

I did a 4 inch lift on my ezgo when I had it, and I tell you it was a pain on the rear springs, I liked to never got them on, just took time and patience, which I have neither.

Anyways, I bought alot of stuff off ebay and the net, local places wouldn't even come close to matching on the same identical items.
