JW may want to check those facts as the pinto didn't start production till 1971....... I may be mistaken but wasn't there a mustang produced in 1964 .Chevy had just as stylish and gracful cars as the vega....

In all fairness...I had a '92 LX 5.0 with racecraft suspension and some exhaust work. That motor did not have one issue and I had 140k miles on it when I sold it. The only thing I replaced was an alternator, 1 set of brakes, 2 clutches and a trans that went at 110k. Loved that car.
