My landing gear motor is shot on my WW CR3905. Any suggestions on a replacement? Any heavy duty ones out there? Seems a bit premature for it to be going out but it was smoking the other day while I was lifting it so I guess that's that!! Thanks.

Usually you have to buy an exact replacement as other brands will not fit. And they are not cheap. If it's the electric motor that is bad you might try taking it to a shop that can repair electric motors. They might even be able to "rewind" it so it produces more power. Google electric motor repair with your ZIP code to find local shops.

Go to the dual motors, it doubles the capacity. I sell the kits if you need one.

I have a SLC3905 and went to dual motors a couple years ago. My main motor never went bad, but you could here is struggle when lifting. I haven't had an issue since the upgrade, if you need help with PN's let me know I will see if I can dig them up.

this is exactly what i did...

1 motor just didnt cut it. mine went out as well, and doubled mine up when it failed.
