I moved back in to my Moms house and she had 4 dogs plus my 2, although its a very big property. Well one was a very old female and my youngest would piss her off and the old one would growl. Well a couple weeks ago we lost the old one and now down to 5 dogs but my little one is a monkey see monkey do kind of dog.

She picks up everything, good and bad habits. If she hung around a smarter dog crowd its scary how smart she could be. She even knows how to open doors.

Anyway there have been a few times where she is growling at the other dogs now and sometimes they fight back. The other night with all the fireworks was the worst, she was like a rabies dog. She was showing her teeth and growling at all the other dogs. When I stopped her she growled at me. I knocked her along side her head for it, not hard but enough to let her know thats not ok.

Any suggestions?

She may have been scared. Two bitches will have a problem is there is a dominance situation so be careful.
She may also be adjusting still. Also if a dog begins to show their teeth and agress more often you may want to
check the dog out because sometimes its as simple as a pain they are having. You may find something hurting her.

She's trying to find her spot in the "pack".. maybe even trying to be the leader it sounds like....
But the bottom line is your dog knows she's not part of the crew there, giver her more time and make her submit to the other dogs..
2 hours of the dog whisperer will give you some good ideas in regards to getting her to submit and integrate.
