I have an oppurtunity to pick up a semi clean 1995 34'er with a 454 on a p32 chassis. The owner of the motorhome has died and i would be buying it from his widow, and she doesn't know everything about the coach. It does have ceramic coated headers and a chip. I could not find any info regarding GVWR and GCWR so I don't know how it will townmy enclosed full of toys, probably around 4k lbs. I am hoping someone out there knows something about it. Also, what is the approx value of this coach? NADA has a low retail of 13k.

Not a big fan of class A with 454. Without photos hard to give you a market value. At least it has a slide on it.

I known about the pictures, but I can't post them from my stupid iphone...i am really interested more on the drivetrain...tow ratings and such

Just about all Class A Gas motorhomes will max out around the 5K range for towing.

Ok, i was thinking it had to be close to that...what is the approx value of it in fair condition?

I would say 15 - 20K is about right.

I had a 98 Class with the 454 Vortec motor and pulled like a train and wasnt bad on gas, it would get a consistent 10mpg. I beefed up the back frame rails, and made sure the trailer brakes were always adjusted up and it stopped fine..

If mine would have had a slide I would never had sold it.

I have a 1995 30' Fleetwood Southwind with no slides (so probably quite a bit lighter than the one your talking about). It tows OK but not great. When I hook up my 14' single axle trailer with my Rhino on it the thing maxes out about 40-45 going up Cajon Pass if I get a good running start at it. Mine doesn't have headers or a chip (not sure this is even available) but it's a dog when towing anything. I'd hate to put anything behind more than my current set up which maybe weighs 2300-2500 pounds.

Interesting...I have a 1995 35' Southwind (no slide)) with a 460. I have a set of Doug THorley ceramic coated headers (2nd set...first set finally wore out) and a Banks fresh air intake on it...and it gets the job done very nicely. When I was still going out to Glamis I was pulling a 14' Wells Cargo with 3 or 4 quads , gas, wood, ect, and a bunch of people out of Escondido through the mountains and I had to slow down for the corners if I kept my foot in it...!!!

I drive it like I stole it...still do...65,000 miles and it still runs strong.

The last pull on Cajon Pass is steep...don't be so hard on yourself...!!!
