Trying to let everybody know about this lake trip 22-25 July to Patagonia Lake in Patagonia, AZ. It's a small lake with fishing and swimming. They have pontoon boats for rent, but they're all rented that weekend. They have little boats for rent too. Just google "patagonia Lake". We're getting there early in the am on the 22nd. As any other state park, you can't reserve or hold spots. They have dry/tent camping, and some powered spots too. We just go for the dry camp sites, less hills and it's more level campsites. I'm not planning on a major blow uot, just a gathering of interested folks. We'll drink, eat and fish together as much as everybody wants to hang out, or go do your own thing. A few wineries (did I spell that right?) are in the area, good for a day trip, Tombstone is good for another day trip, and lots of area that would make a good trip also. Look into it, do some homework on the area, if ya don't know about it, and come on down. We can kinda plan the same things to eat for 1 meal at least, makes no difference to me. Let me know ahead of time so I can load the proper cooking implements, grills, smoker, etc. We'll have plenty of room since no car is going.
You could bring any street legal vehicle to run around the park with, but it has to be street legal. Hope a few folks make it, it would be fun to get to hang out with some of yous guys!!

Just got back from a long vacation, so I'm not sure if I could swing this but sounds like a good time. I'll definitely look into it. When I lived in Phoenix I usually did a Tombstone trip once a year, I haven't been in 3! Beautiful area, even did an overnight stay at the Copper Queen in Bisbee for my birthday one year

I have no idea why. QG and KG said they are going to make every attempt to be there. I'm going anyway, QG ask me to put it up here, so I did. Overwhelming response!!! hahahaha

A little cooking, eating adult beverages, fishing, boating, hell I'm in anytime for all that!!! Buggy's broke, so I'm taking the smoker and a 90lb. pig

I am planing on taking the car for a shakedown run that weekend and meet up with some folks - off to the dunes. Else I would go just for the smoked eggs.

Well, the pig guy can't come thru,so no pig this time.

Is it the date that folks can't make? I'm taking my wife on this camping trip kinda for our anniversary. I usually do a blow out party at the house, but this year we decided not to. If you can make it, great, if not, oh well. Maybe another trip, another time!!!

I have not been to patagonia lake since I was 10, that was 21 years ago. I am on call all weekend so I am out for this trip. Have fun!

Sorry BBT we are heading to Apache lake that weekend. Patagonia is a nice fishing lake and is a nice camping spot. We tend not to go down there as they do not allow skiing and wakeboarding during the weekend. I have a wakeboard boat went down with some fiends onetime just for a day trip to just fish and hand out and they asked me to take my boat out of the water. Anyway it really is a nice lake for camping and fishing just not a play lake I hope you guys have a great trip.

Tank, we would be in like Flynn but dont have mobile housing for 3 kids and 2 big dogs with AC! If you guys want to go up north to the Mogollon Rim where it is 80 degrees during the day we could tent it and the kids would dig it. And I think GlamisCoyote and his mrs would be in for that as well! Our Rhino is dead so we have Burb to ride around in up there and LOVE IT! Nothing like going to the pine trees when it is 116 in the desert! We love you guys long time, and hope you have an awesome anniversary!

It ain't no big deal, I put it up cuz you asked me to. We're still going, just was seeing if anybody wanted to hang out. I don't have a boat, and understand the buttholes at Patagonia about certain types of boats. I think it's stupid, in a way. But it is a small lake, and i"m just going to cook, eat, drink, and drown a worm!!

Y'all all have a good time, and Queen, we're pretty set on going to Patagonia..........this time. Who knows in the near future!!

THEN Doug gets a call from work today and apparently someone decided that inventory has to be done next SUNDAY! I went and helped him last time and I about killed myself and everyone there because it was such a PITA. GRRR!

Damn it! Tank I was really spinning the wheels and knew the kids would totally have a kick ass time too! I have great kids because they know the Other Peoples Trailer Rule, you are in someone elses trailer and they are allowed to kick your little butt if you deserve it! Plus my middle one LOVES LOVES LOVES to cook! The two of you would get along like beers and a cooler full of ice. Raincheck my brother from another, but I will figure out sumpthin for us to hang out soon!

Im just rattling your cage. I don't really care if nobody shows, it's ok. Queen Glamis ask me to put it up on here, so I did. It's mine and Debbie's 35th anniversary. (we celebrate for a while on the big ones)

It's OK if people show up too, and no offense to anybody, I'm going whether anybody shows or not. It's no big deal, we're just tired of being tied to home. I broke L2 in my back Mar. 11, and have bben to work and home since then. Did go to Razors for the summer BBQ, but that's it. I'm gonna get the eff outta town. Do some fishing, some cooking, some drinking, some bow chicka wow-wow, and some effin off all damn day long!!! There a few I work with coming down. D.O.N.E. is thinking and talking to her honey tonight about coming too. This is not the last time I'm gonna put a party notice up on here, trust me!!!!!
