My buddy has a 06 LTR 450 that he has put a Trinity full exhaust, power commander, velocity air filter, hot cams stage 1 and is running 110 octane racing full in. The bike has been bogging down when shifting thru all gears. He has also had the bike Dynoed and the power commander dialed in for his mods. He had the fuel filter replaced about 6 months ago as well. When he hits the gas it feels like it is taking about a second or 2 for the bike to take off instead of having instaint power. I have been beating him with a 07 LTR with a K&N, cherry bomb, and a big gun pipe. If you have any advice or words of wisdom they would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

CHECK THE BATTERY ??

First of all, why is he running 110 in that bike without compression mods?

Get rid of the 110 octane. It more then likely is a leaded race fuel and the lead is clogging the swirl screen at the bottom of the tank. It's a small paper filter and when clogged will have symptoms like you are describing. Also fuel pressure may be playing an issue here as well.

Thank you for the input. I will let him know and see if that will fix the problem. Notworthy.gif
